Nicole Croy will share her love of teaching and the magic of photography in a hands-on Solargraphy workshop on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 6:00PM – 7:30PM at the Garrett Museum of Art, located at 100 South. Randolph Street in Garrett.
In this workshop, you will build two Solargraphy cameras and load them with light-sensitive material.
The cost of the workshop is $10 and all materials are included.
You must sign up and pre-pay by July 31, 2021 as space is limited – only 15 seats are available.
This workshop is suited for adults and teenagers. Children (age 10 and over) can sign up and attend with a parent or guardian.
Creating Solargraphy images allows the photographer to record the path/movement of the sun over an extreme amount of time (a day, week, month, or even a year). This type of photography is produced with a lensless pinhole camera and light sensitive photographic material.
Be sure to check out Nicole’s show on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 6PM – 8PM. Click HERE for more info.
