The Garrett Museum of Art will be hosting a Gallery at Buchtel House again with fabulous artists producing amazing creations right here in the USA!
This pop-up event showcases over 15 Indiana artists and includes painting, wood burning art, encaustic art, notecards, wood vessels, paper quilling, jewelry, journals, photography, and IN Artisan food products and other handmade colorful pieces. Ceramics, glass objects, and books add to the American-made array.
CORE Vocational Training hand-created products are on site and 100% of the proceeds from purchases of their bookmarks and paper creations benefit individuals with disabilities.
Labor of Love – Made in America is open on September 3rd from 5PM – 8PM, September 4th from 10AM – 3PM, and September 5th from 12PM – 3PM. It is sponsored by the Garrett Museum of Art.
There will be a special attraction on the Buchtel House front porch on Saturday, September 4th from 12PM – 1PM featuring Pat Chesebrough playing his handmade instruments, including an upright bass guitar made from a clothes dryer barrel and a cigar box stringed banjo-type instrument. Fun and dynamic, Pat and his creations both will give you a true American-made experience.
