FUN & COLLABORATIVE WORKSHOP!

Calling all skill levels; parents with children ages 5+, teachers, friends and/or family.  

What is a collaborative workshop with Paper Art? 

Students may bring a “partner” to work together to create 3 cast and/or woven sculptures using paper. This one-hour collaborative workshop allows partners to problem solve, share ideas and explore possibilities while learning the basic characteristics/techniques of paper sculpture. During the workshop, students will learn and practice the aesthetic elements of art, methods and skills using a blended paper pulp, torn and cut paper to create shapes inspired by nature. Each student will take home their pieces to dry and paint.

Artistry in Make-Up Demonstration

Hannah Dorion is a makeup artist who has been working in the industry professionally since 2017. She fell in love with makeup at a young age in the ballet studio and now adores tackling all types of makeup. Her work can be seen on independent film and television projects, commercials, print photography, the stage, and at weddings/special events. Hannah loves teaching and is one of the instructors at Makeup First School in Naperville, IL. Hannah has worked in various cities around the Midwest including Chicago, Grand Rapids, and Fort Wayne.

Come see Hannah do her magic as she creates a work of art on a face which will connect with and complement the amazing black and white hair sculptures by Migena Furxhi in Women Take The Walls.
